You have come to the right place to learn about the early Transformers Generations of toys made back in 1987 and 1988 time frame. Why, because I managed the toy line back then. And, never would have thought almost 25 years later Transformers would still be of interest to young kids, those into collectible Transformers, and movies like Transformers and the sequels would have been produced. As I look back at my days working on the Transformers toy line back in the 80's I have fond memories.
